Bob Houser, with over 35 years in the plant health care industry, brings a wealth of experience to our team. He boasts more than 25 years as a certified arborist and as a PHC business owner. As a PHC technician he was committed to utilizing scientifically based PHC practices and staying updated with the latest research to foster healthy soil and plants.
In 2014, Bob founded Houser’s Plant Health Care, where he developed systems and equipment to boost efficiency and productivity. He created the IPM Caddie, a compact spray tool known for its safety and versatility, and also designed his own PHC spray van.
Throughout his career, Bob has operated over 20 different spray vehicles, including trailers, box trucks, and both large and small spray trucks. Observing the lack of organization and standardization in those vehicles, he set out to design the next generation of PHC equipment that addresses these gaps.
The result is the APEX truck—a reliable, user-friendly, and efficient piece of equipment. We believe that having the right tools and equipment is essential for a thriving PHC business.
